Trader applications for FUTURE MOVEMENTS FESTIVAL 2020 are now open...

 

We are looking for the best of the best - food, drink, clothing and wellbeing vendors to apply for a trading pitch at Cyprus's biggest House & Techno movement - FUTURE MOVEMENTS FESTIVAL!

 

Please read through all the information below and if you are interested in becoming a trader at this year's festival, then please download the form at the end page & submit your application to us by email to: partners@futuremovementsfestival.com.

 

We are offering all traders discount prices this year as it is the first ever main festival event for Future Movements and we would like to build great relationships with anyone involved which inludes pleasing our traders as well as attendees!

 

TRADER FAQS

 

1. WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL?

The main festival event will take place:

Saturday 1 August 2020

Open to the Public (trading hours):

4pm-12.30am

The full site is accessible and no matter where your pitch is, you will have punters exploring the site giving you a great steady trade.

 

2. DELIVERIES

We understand that you may need to take in deliveries before and during the course of the festival. Please make sure that a member of your team is available and on site to receive the delivery. Delivery vans will be held by security and will not be allowed on site past 2pm for health and safety reasons. We will do our best to transport your delivery (if required) to your pitch but please be advised that during the morning of our event, our onsite vehicles are limited and priority will be given to Festival set up.

 

3. WHAT LEGAL DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED?

We require all traders to provide proof of Public Liability Insurance.

Traders that are using electrical and/or gas appliances must provide us with appropriate Risk Assessments, and all electric & gas appliances need proof of recent safety checks.

Finally all traders that are serving food and/or drink must supply us with Health & Safety Food Handling And Hygiene Regulation document.

We require this documentation on or before the 14th June 2020 prior to the festival.

 

4. WHAT IS THE FESTIVAL CAPACITY?

The festival capacity is up to 3000 for 2020 (can be extended to 5000 depending on ticket sales). The expected attendance will be 1500-3,000 but is not guaranteed..

 

5. WHAT KIND OF PITCH FEE CAN I EXPECT TO PAY?

We have two options available:

 

Option ONE:

Traders must have their own accessible vans/stalls.

Main Meal Trader Pitch Fee includes 1 x  amp feed and 4 staff passes – £500

Drinks / Coffee / Juice Trader Pitch Fee includes 1 x  amp feed and 2 staff passes – £300

Non food trader includes 2 staff passes no power included – £200

Extra 16amp power – £50 (max 2 quantity per trader)

Extra 32 amp power -£100 (max 1 quantity per trader)

Additional staff passes can be requested

 

Option TWO:

We set up a stall/area for the Trader but they must have their own equipment including heating/gas/cooking appliances, fridges etc – we will prepare and dress up the stall in with the vendors theme

Main Meal Trader £850

Drinks/Coffee/Juice Trader Pitch £600 on top of initial fee

Non food trader £400 on top of initial fee

 

We actively encourage new businesses – if this is your first season trading let us know and we will find a pitch fee that works for you.

Pitch fees are payable in advance by BACS transfer. Due to no-shows this is non-refundable.

 

6. WHAT IS YOUR WASTE DISPOSAL & RECYCLING POLICY?

FUTURE MOVEMENTS FESTIVAL aspires to be a green festival and we encourage food and beverage packaging to be recyclable. NO PLASTIC STRAWS OR UNRECYCLEABLES TO BE USED!

Any trader waste must be disposed of in the bins provided onsite, please make sure your pitch is left in a clean and tidy condition.

 

7. ARE THERE ANY RULES AROUND WHAT I CAN AND CAN’T SELL?

We would like it if you can adhere to the following rules:

1- No Glass.

2- No alcohol unless explicitly approved by the organiser, exclusive to bar traders.

3- No legal highs or drug paraphernalia.

4- We aim to ensure each trader is unique, we ask you to let us know what products you are selling to ensure traders don’t overlap – example: If you are selling Pizza slices, no other trader will be able to sell pizza. We think this is a fair system and makes each pitch exclusive to the products it is selling and ensures every trader gains a healthy profit and exposure from this Festival.

 

8. ARE WE EXPECTED TO TAKE STAFF FOOD VOUCHERS?

If you are a food and beverage trader you are expected to participate in our food voucher scheme for volunteers, staff and artists. You will provide management 25 Free food / drinks vouchers with up to 25 orders of no more than £5 per order - this is for artist and management oonly.

Festival Volunteers and Staff will receive one food voucher each and we will pay you between £3-£5.00 per food voucher (dependant on food vendor) accepted for staff and additional artist meals. You can select items from your menu that the vouchers are redeemable against or create a special “staff dish” that fits in with the budget. We will require around 50 food vouchers which will be paid to each vendor at the end of festival event once voichers have been redeemed & counted.

 

9. CAN I TAKE A BREAK AND LEAVE MY PITCH?

Sure! Just leave someone else in charge – for the purposes of health and safety your pitch must be staffed during trading hours.

 

10. WHERE IS FUTURE MOVEMENTS FESTIVAL MAIN OUTDOOR VENUE?

The Dock (attached to Waterworld Water Park) 18 Ayia Thekla Rd, Ayia Napa, Cyprus.

 

11.WILL THE PITCHES BE COVERED?

yes if you purchase the full pitch package from us you will have your own marquee set up withroof cover but we suggest yu bring items to make sure you keep cool and so does all of your items as it can get very hot this time of year in Cyprus.

 

12. CAN TRADERS EARN MONEY BY SELLING TICKETS?

Yes we can provide you with your own ticket link by our ticketing partner Skiddle, where you can track all sales made via your link and earn commission on every ticket sold.

 

13. WILL ALL TRADERS BE PROMOTED/ADVERTISED ON YOUR SITE & SOCIALS?

Yes of coure, anyone involved will be mentioned with a clickable linked logo to your direct website from ours and we will announce all traders on all of our socials: Instagram, FB, Twitter, etc.

 

14. WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS?

The deadline for applications is the 14th May 2020.
